[EBI]How to check your remaining annual leave days

1. Go to the saperp.embl.de and log in

2. Leave records -> Enter new leave record

3. click the third column "Time Accounts"

4. In the new table, the sum of the last column "Entitlement Minus Planned" should be the remaining number of days

Differences between Praires, steppes, pampas etc.

Cambridge University cannot connect to Eduroam from Mac: enterprise credentials required

 I spent almost an hour and finally solved this:

New Google Drive right click menu (for available offline etc.) not working on Mac

 I solved this problem by restarting both Finder and Google Drive

To close the Finder you can just close all the windows of Finder

To restart Google Drive, just click the Google drive logo on the top right bar, click gear button and then Exit

Then launch Google Drive again

Plotly figures not displaying on Jupyter Notebook

 It used to work but after my computer died and restarted, the plots on jupyter notebook were replaced with wide blank space.

I reinstalled plotly and restarted the kernel and things were back.

July26 2021: restarting the kernel is good enough ; refreshing the browser doesn't help

Password: your UCL password
