how to unsubscribe from Amazon Kindle unlimited [bug fixed]

I'm posting this not because the answer is hard to find, but because the official online answer is not quite right due to browser issues.

1. Go to Manage your Kindle Unlimited Membership.
2. Under Manage Membership select Cancel Kindle Unlimited Membership.
3. Select End Membership on [DATE].

You would get stuck at Step 2 because the page you open will be blank.

The solution: use a cell phone, e.g. iphone safari browser works on that page.
