How to record computer playback/system sound/spotify music/internal speaker using Macbook

1. Run Soundflower(a software you can easily download. You may need to go to Settings -> security to allow it to install)
2. Go to settings -> Sound then select Soundflower(2ch) as both input and output (in this way you are redirecting the sound signal internally. Also click on the soundflower logo on the top right, select 2ch is the output channel. After setting this, you will notice that the speaker of your computer will sound a little bit different)
3. Open Quicktime player , File -> New Audio Recording -> press the red button to start recording
4. Play your song to record.


5. After you've done everything, please remember to go to settings -> Sound to switch back your input/output settings.
