For windows version, follow this instruction:
Outlook Office 2010, 2013, 2016 (PDF Instructions)
For Mac version, please read:
1. Open Microsoft outlook on your Mac
2. On the top left, Outlook -> preferences
3. In the pop-up window, Accounts
4. In the accounts window, press "+" on bottom left -> New account
5. type your alumni addrew, probably Firstnamelastname@alumni.caltech.edu
6. a caltech log in window will pop up. Please CLOSE IT!!!
7. You will go back to a window saying "connecting to Office 365... Authentication couldn't be completed". Please click "not office 365?" on top right
8. In the new window, click IMAP/POP
9. In the manual set up window, choose IMAP for type,
Firstnamelastname@alumni.caltech.edu as email address,
Firstnamelastname@alumni.caltech.onmicrosoft.com for username
your password
outlook.office365.com for incoming mail server
smtp.office365.com for outgoing server
click Add account
10. Click Done
