How to cancel Google Drive storage plan / membership

The old protocol no long works because Google drive has been migrated to Google One.

Therefore, what you should do is:

1. On your computer, go to Google One.
2. At the top, click Settings   Cancel membership.
3. In Google Play, next to "Google One," click Manage  Cancel subscription.
4. Follow the steps on the screen.
